Unfortunately I have to follow in the line of my predecessors.
I ordered a pair of softcalf boots that unfortunately was defective (it had a massive shoe polish/wax build up including a massive discolouration from the first contact with snow).
I complained to Meermin about it and was referred to a in-house shoe care specialist in the US who was very engaged to help. However the matter could not be solved to satisfaction although there was a lot of work put into it from my side. Asking for a refund or exchange the company (Spanish customer service) is ghosting its clients. A very annoying and upsetting way on how to treat and consequently loose clients.
On April 22nd at 5:07 I opened a chat with Meermin requesting to modify an order (wanted to change size). At 5:08 I received a response that they would assist. However to my surprise, that was the last time I heard from Meermin. I followed up with several chats and emails to no avail. I informed them I would be contacting my credit card company.
What is a shame is that I also wanted to add another pair or two of shoes to my order. Meermin's customer service is woefully supbar.

I wish i can rate Meermin minus one star if possible. There customer service is horrible and they barely replied my email (I sent 3 they replied once).
DON'T BUY FROM MEERMIN.
I returned my order because they dont fit well. I returned on 16th April and I still havent get my refund back today is 5th May. Their customer service is not helpful at all. Please be aware of Meermin and dont waste your time.

I have ordered a total of five pairs of shoes/boots from Meermin. Four of them were off the shelf and one pair of boots were MTO. I could not be more pleased with the shoes and the quality. The special MTO boots were ordered in January 2021 and I received them mid April 2021. The quality was excellent and better than I had hoped for. You can't beat the price or quality.
Meermin doestn't comply with French law by not refunding initial transport fees while charging for return. French law insure initial fees are refund with the product. I will fill a notif to the law departement
Like many people who posted to this site, I received a pair of shoes with a defect--significant crumpling and creasing along the sole on one side of one shoe--and Meermin would not cover the return shipping costs or refund the original shipping. So I was out $25 for the privilege of receiving a defective product and the hassle of returning it. I now realize Meermin is notorious for this.
Poor response to a manufacturing fault after two wears.
Being a collection and looking after my shoes, I'll not be purchasing from Meermin again.
One of the shoes has some kind of deformity on the inside part which effectively makes it one size smaller. They refused to accept it as a defect, and as a result, I had to pay the shipping cost to return them.
I received my size 8 loafers, style 114409, after sending back a size 8.5. They were very stiff and uncomfortable at first and I had to put a few miles on them to break them in. Really like the style and color (expresso). Toe a little longer than American shoes. Customer service was very good but took a month to get the right size.

Exceptional quality and the best shoes I've ever had with about 12 years of experience in the hotel industry where I have walked tens of thousands of kilometers in a 100s of pairs of different shoe brands. Truly be assured that with meermin one is getting best value for money and top quality goodyear welted shoes for abargain price.

I have ordered an MTO (Made to order) boots but choose the wrong size.
When I have asked to change it, it was done promptly.
After that I saw that the purchase was not exchangeable nor refundable because it is a Made to order purchase. Not cool but logic.
I went to the Paris store to verify that the 6 size was going to fit.
The size 6 / 40 that I usually take was way too little i coudn't event enter in the shoe.
I did not want my purchase to be a gamble.
I immediately email the customer service asking if I can cancel the order. The delivery was to be done in march 2021 when I have ordered in late december 2020.
They told me that they have asked if the shoe was in production already.
From now on I have emailed them everyday. I was desperate to have potentially lost 250 euros...
A few days later (today), they confirmed that the order was cancelled.
I really want to thank them for remaining professionnal even though the mistakes were made by me and I was an annoying customer.
Unacceptable Service - Dishonest Company
I received shoes and a belt in March right before Covid hit. I attempted to return them and was told that the NYC receiving location would be closed for months due to Covid and that an exception would be made for returning them at a later date. Fast forward to November, the shoes and belt have been sitting in my closet in their original packaging and shipping container, untouched, and awaiting the ability to return them.
I reached back out to check back in with them since Covid has only gotten worse since March, and am now told that I can only exchange them and not receive a refund because 'their facilities have been reopened for months'. Apparently I should have been calling/emailing them daily for status updates.
After going back and forth via email, they said to ship them to New Jersey and they would accept the return 'with no inconvenience'. I shipped them back and reached back out to Meermin one week after they received the package. I am now being told once again that I won't be given a refund, and that only an exchange is possible.
The email responses seem to come from someone different with each response. They are in broken English and very short and curt. This process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing and I will never purchase a single item from Meermin again. At this point they can just keep the shoes. I don't want anything to do with the company or their products, and apparently they need the money more than I.
